The junior A league campaign started with a win over Moycarkey, the girls had a strong breeze in the first half which they used to their advantage this gave them a good lead going into the second half, during the second half Moycarkey found their feet and with the aid of the breeze they put our backs under pressure but our girls kept working and in the end the scoreline finished Ballina 5:09 to Moycarkey 2:02. Well done girls and coaches.

U12A Summer league began last Friday evening in Ardcroney. This was the first competitive game our young girls played on the bigger pitch. They worked really hard and never gave up they lost out to a strong talented team from Kilruane.

U12B team take on St Cronans this Monday in Ballina. Another team of fantastic girls with great commitment. Looking forward to season of competitive camogie.

On a wet miserable Sunday afternoon the U12B team took on St Cronans Roscrea in the U12C Summer league again it was not their day, as we were up against a strong physical Roscrea team. This was the girls first competitive game and they did their best, and will improve with more games and participation.

Training Tuesday night at 6-30pm all girls are asked to attend.
